High Specification Data Centre

Welcome to MyHostingSpace (Part of the DSM Group of companies), a state-of-the-art Data Centre and Business Continuity site located in Cambridgeshire. Our facility is designed to meet the highest standards of reliability and sustainability, offering 50 racks of purpose-built space, with capacity to expand as demand grows.

Our data centre and suites are protected by resilient Riello modular UPS systems, ensuring uninterrupted service even in the event of a component failure. We utilise advanced security measures, including CCTV surveillance and card access in all public areas and data centre suites. Access is strictly limited to authorised personnel only.

Cooling and Sustainability

Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our innovative cooling systems that use both water and air. This approach not only enhances our environmental credentials but also helps our customers achieve carbon credits and potentially reduce corporate taxation. Our rainwater reuse initiative reflects our ongoing focus on reducing environmental impact, and sustainability remains central to our roadmap as we work towards Net Zero emissions ahead of industry timelines.

Why Choose MyHostingSpace ...

Connectivity

DSM’s Next Generation Network offers a fully resilient high-capacity infrastructure, including direct peering with LINX and LONAP, as well as several Tier 1 IP transit links. As a Tier 2 service provider, we deliver internet connectivity at speeds up to 10Gbps and beyond, with direct connections to over 250 global Data Centres and express links to public cloud services like Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud, and M365.

Expansion and Future Developments

New eco-friendly data centre suites are under construction, featuring low-energy cooling systems. Each suite will house eight full-height cabinets and a “meet me” cabinet for third-party connectivity, all within a secure environment.

Our experienced team are onsite ready to assist you. We monitor all aspects of our data centre and network to ensure maximum uptime.

Why Us

Why Choose Our Cambridgeshire Data Centre?

Our data centre is a purpose-built, 50-rack facility in Cambridgeshire, just off the A1(M) and around 45 minutes from London, the Midlands, East Anglia and the North. As part of the DSM Group of companies, we own and operate the building outright rather than leasing wholesale space, which means we control pricing, access and roadmap directly rather than passing on a landlord’s costs.

Power resilience is built on Riello modular UPS systems with A+B feeds, backed by cooling systems that combine water and air to keep our Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) low and our carbon footprint down as we work towards Net Zero. Every suite is monitored and access-controlled with CCTV and card entry, with equipment held in dedicated, lockable racks or cages separated from other customers.

Connectivity runs over our own AS48070 network with direct peering at LINX and LONAP, so performance from a Cambridgeshire facility is no different to a London one. We hold ISO/IEC 27001 information security certification and Cyber Essentials Plus, and our site is staffed and monitored 24/7/365, with remote hands available whenever you need physical access without travelling to site. FAQs

UK Data Centre: Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your data centre located and how do I get there?

Our data centre is based in Cambridgeshire, just off the A1(M), roughly 45 minutes to an hour from London, the Midlands, East Anglia and the North. The location gives easy road access for engineers visiting on-site while keeping space and power costs well below London rates.

What certifications and security standards does the data centre hold?

We hold ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security management and Cyber Essentials Plus certification. Physical access is controlled and logged, with CCTV surveillance throughout, and customer equipment sits in dedicated, lockable racks or cages, separated from other tenants. Read more on our security and compliance page.

What power and cooling infrastructure does the facility use?

Power is delivered through resilient Riello modular UPS systems with A+B feeds, so a single component failure does not interrupt service. Cooling combines water and air systems designed to keep Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) low, supporting our progress towards Net Zero.

Is the data centre owned and operated by MyHostingSpace?

Yes. The facility is owned and run by MyHostingSpace, part of the DSM Group of companies, rather than leased as wholesale space from a third party. That means we control pricing, access policy and infrastructure investment directly.

What connectivity and network options are available?

We operate our own network, AS48070, with direct peering at LINX and LONAP, plus multiple upstream transit providers for resilience. This gives colocation customers London-grade connectivity performance without a London price tag. See our connectivity page for more detail.

Can I visit the data centre, and is support available out of hours?

Yes, site visits can be arranged by appointment. The facility is staffed and monitored 24/7/365, and our remote hands service means you can request physical assistance with your equipment at any time without travelling to site. For help, contact our team.
